Prima Doll Stamps

When i was a kid.....a few years ago (no rude comments needed....haha) I used to love to dress up paper dolls. My grandmother always bought me a new doll book when i stayed with her on the holidays.

Fast forward to today and now even big girls can play with paper dolls, although now they are way more sophisticated and you can create a look that suits our own personal tastes.

How?
With the lovely range of Prima, Julie Nutting inspired mixed media doll stamps.
This is their latest release available...... Cute huh?

If you haven't tried these stamps before, to use them just stamp the image on card  with black Stazon ink and colour with markers, water colour pencils or h2o's paints.
Alternatively you can stamp onto patterned papers and cut out the various elements which you then overlay onto the original image, this is also known as paper piecing.

What do you do with your completed doll?
Try adding her to a shipping tag, Prima makes these as well or you could create your own.
Then add the tag to a card for any occasion.

Here's one i created using an earlier release doll stamp.

See you are never too old....Embrace your inner child and have some fun!
:-)

Looking forward to reliving our childhood making Prima dolls very soon...... Even better when the new doll stamps arrive. :-)
